I'm not your girl.

I’m not your girl.

I’m going to rule the world my way.

God. I’ve spent my whole life second-guessing myself.

Being the polite southern white girl.

In the prison of other-concern.

Today that changes.

Standing up.

Speaking out.

Louder and louder and louder.

Changing out the clothes that don’t fit any more.

Tossing care aside.

Embracing my sharp edges.

We’ve been covered up way too long.

It’s our turn.

Who are you, really?

Let me know.
